Summary of Performance as it Pertains to Transition Presented by Cathy Ruiz, Parent Mentor for Western Buckeye, ESC., and Service Coordinator for Paulding County Family and Children First Council, and Aaron Weisbrod, M.Ed., Consultant, State Support Team Region 1. The Summary of Performance (SOP) extends beyond completion of a form at the end of a student's school career. Interagency collaboration with meaningful information is essential for a student's post-school success. This session wil provide an overview of a collaborative SOP process developed by the State Support Team Region 1 Transition Council. A sample SOP packet and suggestions on how students, families, school personnel, agency providers and employers can compile and utilize SOP information will be shared. Future plans to pilot the process will be discussed.
